If you are new to MMORPG’s or specifically Guildwars there can be allot of terms and abbreviations often used by players which can be confusing and daunting to a newbie player.

Is wow starting to feel the pressure already from free-to-play MMORPG’s such as Guild wars 2?
Today Blizzard announced the ‘World of Warcraft Starter Edition’ which lets you reach lvl 20 for free. This replaces what was a 14 day trial where Blizzard hoped to get you hooked and then converted to a monthly subscription.
To us it seems that after all these years using the same model to change now Blizzard must at some level must be feeling some pressure from superior games like Guild wars 2.
