Welcome to Easy Hall of Monuments! This is a new episodic series that helps you get ‘low pickings’ easy to get Hall of Monument points so you get that sweet, sweet loot when Guild Wars 2 finally drops. This series is more aimed at players who prefer not to grind, such as myself. But don’t get me wrong, some grinding is unavoidable and essential to get some statues. You can’t also expect to be able to hit 50 points without a helluva lot of grinding and time investment, this series is aiming more for the 10-30 point range.

So first thing’s first if you haven’t already check out the HoM Reward Calculator and create yourself a goal list. So you’ve sorted out what you have and what you still need to get? If your in the 3-10 point range (you get 3 points for having an account) like me you probably haven’t put much effort into your Hall of Monuments up until this point. That’s fine though, we are all in the same boat! With a little guidance and some commitment you’ll gain points in no time.

Before you set out and work on any title, mission or anything else for that matter, go out and charm yourself a pet! A level 20 pet statue gets you one point in the ‘Fellowship‘ monument and you can level it up while your working on everything else. if you don’t want to waste a skill slot bringing a pet everywhere or dont want to play a ranger then put him on a hero instead as you can just use the Zaishen Menagerie to switch the pet over to your character later. If you already have the Animal Companion statue you next want to level up a rare pet instead, there are 3 rare pets (Black Moa, Imperial Phoenix, Black Widow Spider) and you can get yourself one point for each of level 20.

Next if you are yet to get any hero statues and you own Prophecies, Factions and Nightfall then you can snatch another easy point! Simply bring the hero M.O.X. into your Hall of Monuments and you can place a statue of him straight into the ‘Fellowship‘ monument. That’s right, no armour upgrade is needed since his armour is already considered a prestige armour set. Since your first hero statue gets you a point this is a really easy score for those who haven’t got any other hero statue. This is still worth doing if you have some statues as it will get you that much closer to the next amount of statues required for another point reward!

Lastly if you haven’t already, work on finishing your campaigns! These require some time investment but can net you a lot of statues for the ‘Honor‘ monument without any real grinding. You get a statue for completing a campaign on normal mode and another for completing all bonuses, so that’s 6 statues for all 3 campaigns. If you can stomach it, completing all bonuses of a campaign on hard mode awards another statue and if you do this for all campaigns you receive yet another statue! That’s 10 statues all up. Plus you’ll get to see all those delicious lore tid bits while your saving Tyria yet again.
