I assume Guild wars fans would probably like fantasy movies and stuff like that. Maybe Lord of the rings etc…

Anyway what are your favourite movies? Mine are…

  • Fight Club
  • Pulp Fiction
  • Sin City
  • The Matrix
  • Shawshank Redemption

Slith, you've actually mentioned some of my favourite films right there. Call me heathen but I've still never seen Fight Club.

Others on my favourites list are:

  • Equilibrium
  • Avatar
  • Casshern
  • LotRs
  • 28 Days Later (also 28 Weeks Later)

…there are more, but I won't list them all =p

Hmmm Equilibrium sounds like a interesting move. To reach  a dystopia society must rid its self of emotions….

Idiot xD
(Isn't it nearly time for that to be released on DVD (not the 2070 version, obviously!)?)

Favourite Movie(s):
  – Animated: Ghost in the Shell or Cowboy Bebop: The Movie.
  – Not Animated: In Bruges (they're filming midgets!) and Monsters vs. Aliens.

I think you'll find Monsters vs. Aliens is animated :p

HTTYD comes out in November iirc. I think HMV got it slightly wrong with the 2070 date :p

Meh. It's animated, but not in the same way.

I guess I should have said "Anime:". But oh well. It was actually an afterthought, as really In Bruges surpasses any other film ever…

I forgot about Avatar, we have it on blue-ray also.

Blue-ray version sucks so hard compared to 3d in cinema.

Don't suppose you saw the Extended Edition when Avatar was relreased? I did and loved it just as much / even more. Pity I don't have a 3D cinema on hand to watch it when I want since it's nowhere near as good on a small screen.

I still say you're an idiot for that… :p
I guess I'll just hi-jack this thread slightly and ask: To eveyone (except Aissa) who likes Avatar: What made it a good film?
