Discussion about The Charr Race, I really interested in what the community thinks about the Charr, what kinda special traits they might have, and etc.

I hope their special trait is being able to be ridden like mounts by smaller races n.n
Anyway they seem really cool, I can't wait to wander their hometown since I think I saw an arena :3

Not my first pick but will most likely check them out sooner or later. Dunno about traits yet… Some trait could give them bigger claws and horns with major damage boost. They might be more capable with guns and other machinery weapons.

I think having a high jump and being able to jump from really high heights without being hurt would be a cool trait.
And if you have owned a cat in rl you know what im talking about.

The ability to call down massive-flaming-crystal-asteroids would come in handy in a tight spot.
I also would like to see Charr be able to jump from really high heights, too. It could provide good tactical strategy in certain cases.

I expect I'd have to go with the typical warrior or maybe ranger for a charr character. This may well change when the rest of the professions are released.
I'd expect a charr trait to be advanced jumping / speed / falling that rl cats can achieve – this might be termed "movement / agility enhancement."

I'm a huge fan of how the Charr are portrayed in GW 2, perhaps because as a proper Northern Englishman I can identify with their dour, straight-forward outlook on things, and their aggressive militaryistic style also appeals to me a lot a lot. When given the choice in a game I'd always rather be the big armoured bloke with a huge blade on the front lines, and I can think of no better race for this than a Charr!
The Norn appeal to me as well to an extent, but I prefer the Charr ideals (victory by any means for example) to the jovial and almost naive way the Norn constantly seek individual glory.
In conclusion.. I love the Charr!
