Redean	So what do you guys think about the Ranger profession now that it has received it's GW2 makeover? Personally I think the Whirling Defence video was pure awesome and love how Rangers use melee weapons in a more acrobatic style.

Silly	I like the fact that you can have a greatsword wielding ranger sylvari guy using an elite skill to then summon all 3 tamed pets out for a short duration of time together with possibly a 4th summon that appears to be some sort of tree trunk for the sylvari as maybe their racial skill?, and then blowing a horn to have a flock of killer birds charge in as well, where after you jump in from the sky with a god damned sword as big as yourself… I can just imagine how epic that would look! Sum: greatsword wielding horn blowing ranger with an army at your disposal, what is there not to like?!

Silly	If everything they said is true then that should in fact be completely possible, if ofcourse the sylvari get a racial skill to awaken a big lump of tree to fight for them like the wiki suggests , which they probably will judging by screenshots and certain trailer scenes

Aissa	Why have I not seen this topic before now? I couldn't help but laugh at how well Silly lives up to his name. When they are made, I think you deserve a badge for best profession summary! I too loved the Whirling Defences clip – I just looks completely unreal! Going off that being in-game graphics then I am actually looking forward to playing Ranger!

Hinbane	I think the make-over is really interesting, considering that it looks like my role in a party is going to be more versatile than it already is. That Serpent Strike makes me wonder if the Assassin is out of a job To be honest though, I am REALLY considering rolling a Monk primary this time around. It isn't that I am disappointed with what I've seen in the Ranger preview, it's that I think it would be a more fun experience to be a devoted Support character this time around given the new profession system that ArenaNet is implementing.

Naur	Ranger game play surely looks good and interesting. I just have to shake off my hunter experience in WoW before considering playing this one ;D
