Hi to all ! , I love to pvp and have played most mmo\'s out there but never played GW, my question is without factions how does world pvp work if there are no sides per-say. |

PvP turns into a free for all basically. Everyone can fight everyone and teams are formed in towns before it begins. General PvP is about your small team of 4 or 8 being better than the other msall team you are up against. The largest PvP groups involve only 24 people, three teams of 8 or two teams of 12. You are fighting as a contest of skill in most PvP, not trying to accomplish something for your side of the battle, just trying to win. Guild Wars 2 will introduce larger PvP, namely WvWvW, where huge numbers of players will compete against two other worlds to control a massive PvP map. These forces won't be from different races or factions, but from separate worlds, shards or servers, crossing the mists that divide them to do battle until one is victorious. |
