Money, money, money (or should I say Gold)

I was wondering if anyone has heard much about any activities regarding money-making. Now I haven't played GW in a while so please bare with me. When I was playing GW I was very profitable in the "running" biz. For instance I used to do the Forge run and Temple of Ages run all the time with much success and profit. When business slowed, I also invested time in soloing ascension missions for people for gold. Finally I found plenty of leisure in soloing or teaming up in the Underworld or Fissure of Woe for rare items or globs of ectoplasm (ahhh good times, I actually had to google some of this information because I forgot their names, haha). Honestly I spent the majority of my time either trying to make money so that I could buy gold weapons and mods for them, or I just hunted for the gold weapons myself. As ANet mentioned anything regarding methods to making money?

No such thing about making money yet and i don't think they will specifically say you can do X to get money but they have said that dynamic events award gold and another currency called Karma which you can also use to buy items. Other than that I assume running dungeons would generate cash and you could sell materials for crafting skills that find throughout the world and items you actually make using crafting skills you would be able to sell for profit as well.

I'm not sure running dungeons will be feasible in GW2, since the content scales for the number of people in the event / area, and since dungeons are instanced, I would expect the content to scale for everyone who entered that instance. Either way, I don't think you would be able to buff yourself enough to get through everything.

Aside from that I would expect all other forms of money-making that existed in GW to exist in the second.

I really think gathering mats and selling them or crafting them will be the way to go. Say you have discovered a cool recipe for an item noone else has. Are you gonna tell everyone? NOOOOOO! You gonna charge them to use your skills, make the item yourself for big bucks or at the very least sell the recipe to others.

Not much info about economy yet. Karma points are given players for doing events and stuff which can be used to buy items but no idea if it is the only one. I hope we see some other means/ways to buy stuff especially if the will be crafting, which I hope there will be. I would be silly to buy crafted items with karma points.
