I was looking through and decided to open up a new topic about what you all might do in real life i Work 3rd shift as a technical analyst for a nationwide diner. (thats where im at right now but since no calls im passing time on here) so what do all of you do when not reigning triumphant over the hordes of enemies that you have left slaughtered in your wake? |

Poor student I'm in my final year of a Computer Science degree. So most of my time is spent doing coursework. Exciting, I know >.> |

Poor student as well, except i'm still at high school in my penultimate year. I'm currently 16 and work on a Go Kart Track as a Track Marshal which beats working at the supermarket I guess. In 2013 or maybe next year depending on how I go, I want to go to university (I think it's called College in the States?) and study some sort of I.T or Computer Sciences degree. I am also extremely interested in video game design so I may go to a Video Game Design school after that. |

I don't actually specialise in anything, my university introduced that concept the year after I started :/ |

We actually categorize a university as a group of colleges. and good luck on your degree im kind of interested in eventually going towards the same field when im a little less busy ive done some programs in my free time but nothing professionally. |

Well Ive been working in I.T. for 4 years (Mainly programming and server administration), I would recommend it as a career to you all. I think that the industry is only going to get bigger and more lucrative because of technologies like the web and mobile, however Im still unsure how outsourcing to India and the like will play into things and if India wasn't skilled in IT developers would be earning 6 figures easily. I've done some game development just for fun. Nothing to complex just tetris and breakout clones. If you want to get serious about game development you need to be really good at math and physics. I would really like to get into something to do with music now if the opportunity arose. |

What type of music? i myself was classically trained on tuba for 9 years and still play on the side every now again for things like the tuba christmas, if your looking to get into something like that then i would encourage you to get in touch with your local community orchestra you'd be surprised how helpful they can be with setting you up with a group of your individual level to play with. |

I'm busy (almost) every day – I have paid work at weekends at a DIY store that's about as dull as the average weather here. During the week I work at a Landscape Architects' practice on work experience, so this isn't paid. It's a lot more interesting than my paid job! I do that 3 or 4 days a week and get Friday off for good behaviour I'm doing that on a year out from university so I can go on to do a Master's degree to rectify the atrocious job I did on my Bachelor's degree I like to make and design stuff – I'm even interested in computer-based stuff even if I don't understand it xD – and spend a lot of time using computer design software. I suppose this is perfect for my course ^_^ |

Working out side would be awesome when the weather is nice!
I have been playing rock guitar for 2.5-3 years. Thats a good idea to get involved with the community some how. Orchestra is probably out of the question for guitar but unless its like the 'One Winged Angel' type thing. |
