ColdFlames	Hey guys! Just made my account didn't know there was a forum website for gw2 :-X lol anyways introduce yourself in my post :] Im here to make a couple of friends and allies and maybe a couple of enemies >:3 I have one question! Is guild wars 2 an expansion? and what I mean by this is, will I need the guild wars 1 set to play guild wars 2? If anyone has the answer tell me! please and thanks!

Aissa	Hi ColdFlames! Welcome to our Community! Could I ask how you found us? You don't NEED Guild Wars to play Guild Wars 2, but it provides you with knowledge of lore and also gives you material bonus items for collecting a certain number of titles via the Hall of Monuments. We have several topics about it in the general section if you feel like browsing!
