That's making me hungry just reading through it! A couple of things; with your Asuran menu, maybe have a choice between all burgers but have them full size (I'm assuming you mean to serve all mini burgers together) and just serve singly. I'm not familiar with eggrolls, are these like spring rolls? Is the Ascalonian appetiser baked potato? I think that would be good with grated / cottage cheese. Where you have deep fried Moa, I don't know what 'mac' is :S I'm not sure I'd marinate pork and have bbq sauce with it – perhaps honey-roast suckling pig or a rack of ribs with bbq sauce? Kraken conjures crab in my mind, but that's harder to come by and also not as good as swordfish, so I like your idea there (you could get some spiral shells to dress it up like Kraken xD) Crème Brûlée is a nice idea too, as is the apple pie. Some things for consideration: Appetiser: Pahnai Soup (vegetable soup), Skalefin Soup (seafood/fish soup), Drake Kabob (beef/pork kebab) I'd also thought maybe you could have a themed menu for each people (Chinese style for Canthan with different main and dessert dishes; Norn / Asura / Sylvari / Charr menu sets; [possibly] Turkish/middle east style for Elonian again differing main and dessert dishes for Istani, Vabbian and Kournan; etc etc.) I hope that gives you something to run off xD I realise there would be a hell of a lot of work to do to get a full menu for each people but it should give you some more ideas ^_^ |

That was my first thought on reading the topic title, however as pointed out it would be a lot of work. What might be more feasible is to have a schedule, so for example have a set menu with the burgers etc, but then have daily / weekly specials from "around Tyria". You could have: I'm not sure what you'd do for Asura or Sylvari (salads maybe?), but you kinda get the idea. Also, isn't "Mac and Cheese" => Macaroni (+ Cheese) Also, you need some calamari in there, because that makes every menu instantly better ;D |

with this i was thinking of mini burgers and they could pick and choose which 4 they want on the platter as an appetizer its not supposed to be part of their main meal its like a warm up for the meal
eggrolls are similar to spring rolls but are typically fried to give their skin a crispy texture.
this is actually a potatoe skin which is where you cut the potatoe in half and then scoop some of the potatoe out and fill with cheese bacon and other delicious toppings. i like this idea as it brings some earthy tones to the menu.
think Cheesy noodles with bread crumb toppings
yea i wasn't really sure on this one where i would take it i was thinking of smoking it and then covering it in
for me the kracken brings up a picture of a many tentacled monster from the deep and swordifsh steaks seemed the best choice.
while some of these ideas i like i do not want to over crowd my menu alot of restaurants make the mistake of having these huge disorganized menus filled with hundreds of choices and this can cause a kitchen to be slow and disorganized. i should also point out the my theme has evolved into not only guild waras cafe but an MMORPG Cafe (obviously not the name) that will also feature World of warcraft and Everquest dishes one thing i did not think of though is salads so i will definantly think of incorporating some of those ideas. something light but tasty. |

I'm glad at least something I suggested made it to the next round! :p I didn't realise it was a general MMORPG café, I thought you were just going for a GW theme. I don't really know anything about food items in EverQuest and WoW. Let us know if/how it is getting on! |

That sounds like a really fun community project. You could actually make digital version of it. |

I'll see if we can make a badge out of it and what not. Any how I'll get thinking on my dish. Would you prefer metric or imperial measurements? |
