Favourite GW1 Campaign or Mission?

Thought I'd throw the question out as to whether any of you has a favourite campaign or even mission(s)?

I know all 3 games and the expansion are quite different in how they give you the missions; some have a time limit, some have side tasks, some short/long, hard/easy. So which is your preferred type?

I can start off by saying that as a whole my favourite campaign is Factions: it's very rewarding certainly for low levels and there is a varying degree of difficulty and I think the time limits add to the need to cooperate more as a team.

My favourite single mission is possibly Gate of Madness – you may think me mad for saying that – but it is long and challenging in hard mode and a lot of fun as well! Monking this mission is fun in a sadistic kind of way, especially if you are solo healing (I have done it and it was so very difficult) If any of you have done it and not found it difficult then I commend you ^_^

In all honesty I prefer Prophecies the most all the my view is biased as that's the only campaign I finished so far.

Is there any way I can move this topic? I decided that it is probably better in 'General Category > Original GuildWars' I thought as author I would be able to move it, or is it just admin that is able to do that?

The most defining factor for me is which campaign told the best story.  And because of that my favorite campaign is probably Eye of the North.  The way it augmented the storyline of Prophecies in particular really was enjoyable, and in general it was a far more epic experience.  (As you can probably guess my second favorite campaign is Prophecies).

My least favorite has got to be Factions.  Even though the PvP was pretty fun, the PvE was a joke and really repetitive.  Plus I felt the storyline was pretty bland in comparison to Prophecies and Nightfall.

I think my favourite mission is Pogahn Passage, mainly for the dialogue if you bring Zhed along (Even though I don't really like Star Wars, it still makes me laugh). It's also ridiculously easy, even in hard mode! xD

Prophecies also has some quite interesting missions. Even though it's quite difficult in hard mode, Aurora Glade made a change from the generic walk forward killing everything in your way. Same for Augury Rock, since you have to actually think about what build you take in with you.

(Oh, and Aissa, I solo monk'd HotS, remember! :D )

Yes, I remember ^_^ Well done you.

The thing with Augury Rock is that PvE only skills make it all too easy. If you use normal skills, then yes, I suppose it's quite fun.

Well yes, but everyone knows real bears don't use PvE skills.

you all might think me silly but my favorite was definately the great Northern wall, nothing was more fun then going in with a group of friends on my Ranger and wiping the wave after wave of charr before slowly strolling back in the gate and then laughing as our characters then preceded to tell the captain to hurry that the charr were right on our back… fun times.
Campaign wise i think prophecies would have to be my favorite in that it has out of the 4 the most interesting story arch in my opinion.
