So heres the competitive PvP thread! Discuss! After watching some PvP matches from Gamescom and PAX i’m really excited. I knew PvP would be quick, exciting and visceral, but wow! I have am so amazed and this PvE fanatic has just been converted! |

Its interesting how players ‘can create their own servers’.
I would like to assume players can host tournaments and the such at LAN parties etc… Also allot the gameplay and skill of PVP looks to be fast passed action, like a FPS, so I assume good ping is important. |

I think by server they mean it more like hosting a game where you choose the map, rules ect. rather than you physically hosting other people on your machine. Some people are getting confused about this. |

After seeing many videos I like pvp so far a lot. It’s very nice that buildings can be destroyed by using cannons or catapults. Destroying windows to get in ones is great too. Here is one link to pvp video to those who haven’t seen yet. |

PvP in GW2 looks much more quick-paced than in GW, and in GW and 2 sec cast time was long! |
